What we collect
Contact details you send us (name, email, phone, company); information our staff and service providers send through our business WhatsApp number, including their phone number, profile name, messages and photos of operational documents such as slips and weigh tickets; and records needed to run our operations, pay staff and suppliers, and report to clients.
Why we use it
To respond to enquiries, deliver our services, keep accurate financial and operational records, meet legal and tax obligations, and report recycling volumes to our clients. We do not sell personal information or use it for unsolicited marketing.
Our business WhatsApp number runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms. Messages sent to it are processed by Meta under its own terms and are stored by us in access-controlled business records. Only authorised numbers are processed; messages from other numbers are not used.
Sharing and storage
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example hosting, banking and payroll providers) and where the law requires. We keep records for as long as South African company and tax law requires, then delete them.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to its processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforeg.org.za).
